Life Cycle Assessment and Material Flow Studies in Finland

Improving eco-efficiency – by creating more value with less environmental impact – has been recognised as one of the main ways business can contribute to sustainable development. Life cycle assessment and material flow studies conducted at both micro and macro economic levels in Finland offer a wealth of new information to help identify issues and measures to improve eco-efficiency in Finland. These results also show how our economy affects the environment outside Finland.
