Best Available Techniques (BAT)

The environmental impacts of industry and agriculture can be significantly reduced through the use of new and more advanced techniques and technologies. Adopting best available techniques (BAT) can help to improve the management of material flows, increase energy-efficiency and cut emissions. Substantial supporting activities have been established in Finland in order to strengthen and enhance the application of BAT.
