Information regarding legislation has moved to the new website of the Ministry of the Environment starting from April 5, 2013. The latest news on legislation, decisions-in-principle, statutes and reports can be found at the moment only in Finnish and Swedish. Information will be available in English later this spring.

This section contains information of internationally required permits together with application forms or information on application procedures.
More detailed information on enacting Finnish legislation is available from the Finnish Parliament. Some acts and decrees are translated to English and can be found in FINLEX, Data Bank of Finnish Legislation.
